Slavery still exists.

We work with local justice officials, community partners, advocates and people like you to end it for good.

We’re working all around the world to free people trapped in slavery.

We don’t stop there. We protect the poor against brutal violence in the developing world:

Online Sexual Exploitation of Children

Children are sexually abused by traffickers who then spread or sell images or videos of the exploitation online—even livestreaming the abuse for sex offenders to direct from anywhere in the world.

Forced Labour Slavery

Forced Labour Slavery uses deception, threats or violence to coerce someone to work for little to no pay.

Forced Online Scamming

A new, brutal form of slavery is rapidly spreading. Right now, thousands of victims are being tricked, trafficked, trapped in guarded compounds and forced to scam people like you and me, under the threat of brutal violence.

Sex Trafficking

Sex trafficking is a form of modern slavery in which someone deceives and sexually exploits another person for profit.

Sexual Violence against Children

Sexual violence is a truly global epidemic that leaves millions around the world terrified in their homes, schools and neighborhoods.

Violence Against women and Children (VAWC)

Women and children experience crimes, including rape, sexual assault, molestation and other forms of sexual abuse.

Police Abuse of Power

Poor people in the developing world are abused by corrupt police who extort bribes and brutalise innocent citizens.

We’re working in 28 communities in 16 countries to protect people in poverty from violence.

Our Proven Justice System Strengthening (JSS) Model

Think of the justice system as a pipeline. Where systems are broken, people who live in poverty are not safe. The UN estimates that nearly five billion people live outside of the protection of the law. Many justice systems are broken, corrupt, under-resourced and overworked.
